Home sweet home
This image, captured at the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, embodies the concepts of mobility and shared experience. A train, a vessel that unites diverse individuals within a single temporal space, symbolizes the universal human desire to reach a new destination. The presence of the grandmother, young lady, and myself—three individuals united in their pursuit of a better future—intensifies this theme. By intentionally including myself as a third person, I aim to present a dynamic interaction among the sitters, all on a journey to find a new home sweet home. The dominant dark brown and red tones in the image evoke feelings of warmth, comfort, and nostalgia.
